This product is produced in accordance with LUBRITALIA formulation in ASIAJULEH Company under license and supervision of LUBRITALIA and is exact equivalent to LUBRITALIA product LUBRO RUST OFF 120/IR.
Rust Protective Oil
Description:
This product is a protective oil used for steel sheets both wet and dry temper passed, formulated with selected highly refined paraffin base oils blended with specific polar additives.
Due to its surface tension, chemical composition and polarity offers a very good wettability and adhesion on steel surfaces. The protective film formed on the metallic surfaces is thin, continuous, homogeneous, not oxidable, stable to sunlight, damp proof and air tight. The viscosity index of the oil is high and, therefore, its covering power is not influenced by room temperatures. This product assures rust protection in closed room for at least one year, also at conditions similar to those observed near to the sea (humidity > 90% and chlorides) display excellent protection performance.
Removal of the oil film is easily possible by all alkaline detergents normally used in the industry before the protective treatments like Phosphatising, Galvanising, Coating, Varnishing or hot dipping.
Application:
This product may be applied by brush, immersion or electrostatic oiler spraying.
Technical Data:
This product is produced with normal rust protection power and excellent oil cleanability spec and is best suited for steel sheets stored in dry places for short periods.
In case of customer requirement based on long storage time or wet environment it can be modified to a product with very high protection power (more than 200 hours salt spray test result).
